Webinar courses are those that you attend online via videoconferencing. To take these courses, you will access the video conference directly from your platform so your progress can be tracked. Webinars are divided into sessions. As a learner, you may be asked to attend one or multiple session dates in order to complete the course.
Some training material may also be added to webinar courses, such as surveys or tests. Let’s explore how to navigate a webinar course. For these types of courses, you will always see the webinar overview page.
The Webinar Course Page
The overview page includes the course’s thumbnail and any number of other course or session details. Using the session dropdown menu next to the course’s photo, you can select which session you want to view.
Below, you will find a list of all of the sessions in which you’re enrolled. A status on the right side of each session will determine whether the session has been Attended, Not Attended, or is Upcoming.
By pressing the arrow at the end of a session’s section, you can view details of the session, such as the time, duration, and the webinar tool. For upcoming sessions, you will see a countdown to the webinar.
When it’s time for the videoconference to begin, simply press the Join button to join the webinar session.
The Overview tab will show any widgets that are activated in the course. You can switch to the Content tab to see any training material that may accompany your videoconference. Press on the title of the learning object to access the object.
For some webinar courses, you can change in which session you’re enrolled, or completely unenroll from a session of course (depending on Administrator settings). Press the session change button or the unenroll button at the top of the course’s page to perform these actions.
